The commitment and responsiveness of Sicame Group and its Emergency Storm Response Team (ESRT) were demonstrated in July during two major storms in North America. Hurricane Beryl in Texas deprived nearly 2.5 million homes of electricity, claimed 73 lives and caused over $8 billion in damage, and the Group was able to mobilize stocks and partners quickly to respond to the emergency. In just 10 days, the network was restored thanks to the contribution of subsidiaries Ask Power and Kortick, who shipped $500,000 worth of equipment in record time, with the help of Group entities in Australia, the UK and France.

Shortly afterwards, in September, Hurricane Helene hit the East Coast of the United States, causing historic flooding. Once again, ESRT mobilized and accelerated the shipment of nearly 70,000 products, for a total of three million dollars.

A remarkable collective commitment from our teams during these natural disasters, during which the Group was able to react efficiently, supporting the rebuilding of networks in the hardest-hit areas.
