To support the growth of the electrical industry in Canada, Economic Development Canada for the Regions of Quebec (DEC) has awarded a grant of 600,000 Canadian dollars to Sicame Energie.

With this contribution, the subsidiary—a North American leader in electrical power transmission and distribution products—plans to invest in automated machinery to improve safety, efficiency, and quality at its production site.

Committed to the province of Quebec and Canada’s infrastructure as a whole, Sicame Energie contributes to the country’s economic growth and will continue to develop its regional productivity and expertise thanks to this funding.

Expanding the product portfolio, adding CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, increasing productivity… the subsidiary has many ambitions to support the local electrical industry and the government’s “proudly Canadian” strategy.

Since the funding announcement, Sicame Energie has committed an additional 1.4 million Canadian dollars for 2026 to optimize government support.
