Sicame Australia, a subsidiary of Sicame Group, has developed a solution, widely adopted on the market, in response to weather-related damage to overhead lines.

The innovation, a new industry standard, is a real technical feat: a mechanically clamped connector, called Mechanical Tension Repair Slice (MTRS). Reliable and "all-terrain", it adapts to and supports all overhead connection configurations, and maintains cable tension overhead thanks to specific screws and pressure plates.

The products are quick and easy to install, speeding up the repair process as well as the installation of new lines, responding to the problems presented by alternative technologies.
