At the 25th International Conference on Electricity Distribution Networks (CIRED) held in Madrid between the 3rd and 6th of June, the Group presented two innovative solutions for overhead medium voltage (MV) networks.

They decided to develop and test a wireless surge protector monitoring system (WSAM) based on LPWAN (Low-Power Wide Area Network) technology and new accessories for sheathed conductor MV lines.
