Every year, Sicame Group invests in its laboratories, which enable it to design the solutions of tomorrow, remain at the forefront of innovation, and contribute to technological developments.

A subsidiary of Sicame Group since 2019, Comulsa is based in Chile, Peru, and Colombia and specializes in the sale of equipment, particularly PPE (personal protective equipment), to local public services, mining companies, and the oil and gas sector.

Before the new laboratory was built, Comulsa used a functional laboratory at the back of its parking lot. The new building, inaugurated less than a year after the project was approved, allows Comulsa to test solutions from its two key partners: cable fault detectors, transformers, and motor equipment from Megger, and automatic reclosers from Noja Power.

Unique in South America, the laboratory fulfills three key roles: training Comulsa staff, training customers, and showcasing products.

With the ambition of becoming a center of expertise for all players in the region, the teams are forecasting a 60% increase in visitors.
