Solutions from Sicame Group and its subsidiary Claved have been chosen to equip the city of Reus, south of Barcelona in Spain, and support the installation of IRVE (Infrastructure de Recharge pour Véhicules Électriques) charging stations. The development of and access to IRVE charging stations play a crucial role in promoting electric mobility and in the global energy transition.

The Spanish subsidiary's technical expertise has enabled it to develop a specific and comprehensive range of junction and protection boxes (fuse holders, insulating supports and terminals) and to install its first 44 kW control panel, powering the charging stations and enabling two vehicles to recharge at the same time.

The success of this project has led to further deployments by the city of Barcelona, which has ordered the installation of two new control panels. "Our ambition is to become the benchmark electro-mobility partner for our customers, to support the rapid development of charging infrastructures for electric vehicles", emphasizes Jordi Aymà Garcia, Product Manager at Claved.
