In November 2023, storms Ciarán and Domingos hit the French coast, causing considerable damage to electrical infrastructure. As a supplier to Enedis, Sicame Group, with its subsidiaries Dervaux Distribution, Sicame and Catu, was quick to contribute to the collective effort by providing the materials needed for urgent repairs. 90% of electricity was restored in the first few days after the storms.

Daily coordination ensured that equipment was available when needed, helping to power the teams in the field, who consumed over 300,000 connectors during the three-week recovery phase.

Enedis CEO Marianne Laigneau personally congratulated Sicame Group on its active role in these difficult times. The Group was able to demonstrate its solidity and expertise in crisis management, and showed great solidarity with the community and the technicians deployed on the ground.
