In just nine months, Groupe Sicame's teams designed and delivered an entire connection network to electrify a village in Benin. The success story continues with seven other villages!

Sicamex, the Group entity in charge of business development in Africa, was approached in March 2022 by MyJouleBox, a French company specializing in the concession of electrical installations in remote areas of Benin, Togo and Niger. Sicamex supported them throughout the entire rural electrification project, from network design to installation.

Sicamex marketed a tailor-made solution for creating an overhead distribution network, supported by Sicame Ukraine and their SICAD software. Today, the software is used to develop all future networks for our customer MyJouleBox. The project called on the products and know-how of no fewer than 10 Sicame Group subsidiaries, and once grouped together, the 90,000 products were shipped and delivered in less than three months.

This promising project, a first in terms of end-to-end support for a rural electrification project, has earned the customer's recognition and confidence, so much so that the Group has now been entrusted with the supply of another component, kit boxes. A further 170 networks are currently being modeled in West Africa, and a further 160 may be added in the near future.
